DNA Ancestry

A genetic ancestry test. This report tries to establish your connection to populations (various ethnic groups) around the world based on your genetic composition and make known your genetic roots or ancestors.
Your genotype is your complete heritable genetic identity; it is your unique genome that would be revealed by personal genome sequencing. However, the word genotype can also refer just to a particular gene or set of genes carried by an individual. For example, if you carry a mutation that is linked to diabetes, you may refer to your genotype just with respect to this mutation without consideration of all the other gene variants that you may carry. The genotype data is used to estimate the ancestries.
 
A total number of 47 ethnic groups/populations across the globe as a model (model-based approach; known observations of genotype frequencies are being used as reference) to estimate the global ancestries and report the proportion of these 47 ethnic groups in your genome.
